VOLUNTEERS are needed to help put on an event to mark the 100th anniversary of the First World War.

The DangerTree exhibition will be coming to Maldon in the form of two exhibitions at the Maeldune Centre and Moot Hall in Maldon from October to November.

The exhibitions were created by award-winning artists Scarlett Raven and Marc Marot, and saw critically-acclaimed showcases in London, Manchester Belfast and Liverpool.

There will also be a pre-exhibition evening talk by Marc Marot in the United Reformed Church in Market Hill, Maldon, with the kind permission of the Minister.

Maldon District and Maldon Town Council will need volunteers to help meet the needs of the many visitors expected at the event.

All volunteers will be given full training and be invited to the pre-exhibition talk at the United Reformed Church on October 25.

The timeframe for the exhibitions runs from October 27 to November 13 at the Maeldune Centre, and until November 18 at the Moot Hall.
