ADVANCE tickets for next year's V Festival have already sold out in Chelmsford.
Chelmsford Borough Council were selling a limited supply of 800 tickets through the Civic Theatre Box Office, as part of a special early run of tickets for the 2008 event.
The tickets went on sale from 9am on Tuesday August 21, and a council spokesperson confirmed all the tickets were sold out within four-and-a-half hours.
There were two types of ticket for next year's event, available at the 2007 prices, £110 for a weekend pass and £130 for a camping ticket.
Festival director Bob Angus said he was pleased to be able to sell a limited number of 2008 tickets at this year's prices.
He said: "With such an amazing weekend this year we're looking forward to doing it all over again for 2008!"
The tickets were also on sale at Wolverhampton Civic Box Office, and on various ticket websites, until the run finished on Tuesday.
