I was very disappointed to read in the Burnham Standard that the innovative plan to provide a one-stop-shop for community services has been rejected by the South Eastern area planning committee.
Surely a facility would have provided a whole range of community services that would have proved to be of great benefit to all.
I feel the reasons given for the rejection of the planning application should be explained in more detail by the committee, as its members do not seem to justify the loss of such a much-needed facility in Burnham.
