A man has been left with serious injuries after a car overturned.
Police were called to Green Lane in Althorne last night, Wednesday August 1, at around 8.20pm after reports of a crash.
A red Peugeot 206 had overturned and the driver, a 21-year-old man from Mayland, was taken to the Royal London Hospital with serious injuries.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance service said: "We can confirm that multiple response vehicles attended the incident.
"The air ambulance arrived on scene at 8:25pm and transported a 22-year-old man to The Royal London Hospital with head injuries."
Police want to speak to anyone who may have seen a red Peugeot 206 travelling along the B1018 Burnham Road or Green Lane, possibly in convoy with two other cars.
A force spokesman said: "We would also like to speak to anyone who has CCTV or dash cam footage."
