A FANTASTIC motor show returned to Maldon at the weekend with a day full of vintage and classic American cars.
The Maldon Motor Show has been running annually for many years in Promenade Park, and returned on Sunday.
The show saw hundreds of classic, vintage and sports cars, military vehicles, retro cars and motorbikes.
Along with the classics lined up in the park, there was an auto-jumble with stands for all car enthusiasts to browse, auto trade stands representing ten local classic car associated companies, and dozens of car clubs which will cover a wide number of makes and models, from Minis to Ferraris.
There was also a vintage fair with vintage clothing and memorabilia from the Twenies to the Sixties, children’s entertainment, a military camp display, a craft fair and scalextric/slot car racing for all ages.
A Maldon District Council spokesman said: “The Maldon Motor show is a fantastic event and draws enthusiasts and visitors from all over.
“We are pleased this year’s event was a great success.”
