GREAT TOTHAM EVENING WI
At our June meeting, members held their version of the Antiques Roadshow hosted by Mark Stacey, a third-generation auctioneer, who also works on TV's Flog It.
He entertained by showing us a variety of collectibles and then valuing the respective antiques brought by the members, some higher and unfortunately some lower than expected.
July found us visiting Hylands House, a stunning Grade 2 listed building where we were given a fascinating tour of this beautiful house, of the restoration to date and many stories of the inhabitants.
Many members back from their holidays enjoyed an extra meeting, tasting various wines from around the world including Fair Trade wine, all of which were very drinkable.
