I would like to acknowledge my complete agreement with the letter from Patricia Willis, "Don't change unique town" in the Standard of July 25.
Many of us have chosen to live in Maldon for what it is.
What right do the council and developers have to take away our right to be happy where we live?
We most definitely do not have the need for a multistorey car park.
We are not a new town and do not wish to be.
