The Tillingham Flower Show committee was so sorry to learn from an article in last week's paper that not everyone was happy with the parade results.
We can quite understand that some children were upset at not winning as they had obviously hoped to do, but that is the nature of competition.
The judges used throughout the show had no connection with the organisers and, indeed, were selected to ensure independent objectivity was brought to bear.
It is, frankly, sad that anyone would suggest the results of our little village show were "fixed", but they would be most welcome to join in the organisation of next year's show to experience the fun in bringing such an event to fruition and the unbiased way in which we all go about it.
