A DANBURY mum has raised thousands of pounds as a thank you for care given to her triplets.

Claire Cericki, 39, and her family have raised £1,750 to benefit the neonatal unit at Broomfield Hospital who looked after her and her triplets, Kuzey, Koray and Ayaz, who were born in 2015.

A quiz night was held in Chelmsford, raising more than £800, a sponsored dance off at Woodham Walter Primary School raised £800, and a raffle at the triplets’ nursery, Busy Bees Springfield, collected £120.

Mrs Cericki and the triplets, along with older siblings Yaren, 12, and Kaya, six, also visited the ward to deliver Christmas presents to babies and their parents, as well as dropping off a hamper for staff.

Mrs Cericki said: “I know just how incredibly difficult this time is and it’s even harder at Christmas.

“I wanted to help and say thank you for caring for Kuzey, Joray and Ayaz.

“We had lots of help from the companies that the boys are ambassadors for on Facebook and Instagram, donating gifts for the babies in the unit.

“This year felt like the right time to be able to give something back to the neonatal team.”

The trio are nicknames the ‘Piplets’ and you can find out more about them on their Facebook page at facebook.com/teampiplets.
