This will take place on Saturday September 8, at 2pm, in the Victory Hall. Please note that, although this has always been run by the WI, it is run for the villagers.
All residents and their families are welcome to enter.
All children entering will receive sweets and, for the successful entrants in all classes, there are cash prizes.
It's great fun, and standards vary greatly, so have a go - you're sure to enjoy it. What's more, you may win!

MUNDON WI
We were delighted to welcome Margaret Cooper to our July meeting. Margaret is a WI cookery judge who will be one of the judges at the Mundon Village Flower Show, organised by Mundon WI on behalf of the village.
Members were invited to bring along cookery items that will feature in the show schedule, such as cakes, jams, marmalade and pickle, for comment and advice by Margaret. Not only was this very useful, but it made for a very enjoyable evening, which concluded with a cookery quiz.
Members were urged to enter as many items as possible into the show, to make the occasion the success it usually is. Schedules are available from Monica Saville on 740586.
The competition for a jam pot was won by Monica, and Mary Hull won the Flower of the Month competition.
