The service on Sunday is a Joint Four Parishes Service being held at North Fambridge, commencing at 10am.
The service, weather permitting, will be held on the jetty at the end of Ferry Road - please take a deckchair or other seat with you.
If the weather is bad, the service will be in the church. Either way, all are welcome.

MOTHER'S UNION
Latchingdon has a small but active branch of the Mother's Union which is for both men and women - we would welcome new members or anyone who would like to be involved in our activities or our meetings.
Details of events will be published in every newsletter and our meetings are fun and informal.

DIARY DATE
The parish council is holding a Summer Fun-filled Party for children aged three to ten Monday August 20, from 11am to 1pm at Latchingdon Parish Hall.
Freckles the children's entertainer will be running a minidisco and party games with prizes Tickets are £5 each, the price covering entertainment and party food and drinks. Of course, there will be refreshments for mums and dads, aunties and uncles, too.

LADIES' INDULGENCE EVENING
Come and indulge yourselves for an evening of pampering with the many qualified therapists and beauty consultants waiting to pamper you with "taster" sessions, covering top to toe.
Various massages are available, along with products from Body Shop, Virgin Vie, Party Stall, Jewellery and the like. We are awaiting confirmation from a hairdresser and manicurist.
All treatments are reasonably priced and can be booked before or the on the evening, although booking is advised. Tickets are £30 each and refreshments will be available.
