LATCHINGDON Arts and Drama Society (LADS) are bringing a classic comedy to the local stage this week for their November production.
The Importance of Being Earnest (A Trivial Comedy for Serious People) is one of Oscar Wilde's most famous and successful plays.
It is an amusing romantic tale of misadventure set in late Victorian London.
The show features LADS veteran, Gill Bridle returning to the stage as the formidable Lady Bracknell and is produced by Alan and Paul Chandler-Elkins.
Show nights are running nightly until Saturday at the Tractor Shed, Hayes Farm in Latchingdon starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets on sale for the remaining nights from the Maldon Tourist Information Centre and via the website www.ladsdrama.co.uk.
They cost £8 per person.
