Five committee members were present at the meeting on Monday, July 2, including chairman Tony Foster, secretary Diana Madge and treasurer Tony Tullis, along with Stella Masters, field officer for the Rural Community Council of Essex.
Following advice from Stella, it was decided to seek quotes for professional analysis of figures taken from the returned questionnaires, approximately 40 per cent of the total, in order to obtain a grant.
Further information will be gathered at the village Flower Show on September 8.
Any villager wishing to return the questionnaire would be welcome to do so, as all opinions are valued. More copies are available to replace any lost.
The next meeting will held on August 3, at 7.30pm, in the back room (accessed from the rear entrance) - interested parties would be welcome.
