A WOMAN in her 80’s was rushed to hospital with head injuries after falling from her mobility scooter in Burnham.
Ambulance crews attended the incident on Tuesday morning following the woman’s fall in Station Road.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We got a call at 11.29am this morning to reports of a woman who had fallen from her mobility scooter on Station Road in Burnham.
“We dispatched an ambulance crew and an air ambulance from the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust, and treated an elderly woman believed to be in her 80’s.
“She was conscious and breathing but was treated for a substantial head injury. After she was treated she was taken to Broomfield Hospital in a stable condition.”
