TWO of the world’s greatest illusionists have joined forces to perform a benefit show in Maldon this month.

Jamie Allan is known by millions of magic fans as The iMagician, and has appeared on ITV’s The Next Great Magician, BBC’s Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and The One Show.

He will be pairing up with Paul Cooke, magic designer and consultant to the world’s top magicians to perform a show at Plume Academy in Maldon.

The performance will be raising funds for the voluntarily run radio station Saint FM which serves the Maldon district, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

The show ‘Men of Magic’ which will take place at 8pm on Friday January 27 at the school theatre will be a tour de force of stunning illusion and amazing magic entertainment and promises to be a show like “you have never seen before.”

Show producer Joe Wenborne said: “For two, action packed hours Jamie and Paul will demonstrate their unique ability to make you believe in the unbelievable. From close up sleight of hand to escapology, from mind reading to Hi-Tech illusion, this is your only chance to see two of the worlds’ most respected magicians at the very peak of their powers.”

Saint FM broadcasts from the Plume School in Maldon and the Orminston Rivers Academy in Burnham on Crouch.
