PEOPLE travelling into and out of London from Southminster over the bank holiday weekend are facing disruptions.
Train services between London Liverpool Street and Southminster will be affected due to engineering works.
There will be no train service on either day between Wickford and Liverpool Street with rail replacement buses operating between Wickford and Newbury Park.
A train service will operate between Wickford and Southminster.
Mainline and branch services will operate on a revised timetable.
On Bank Holiday Monday there will be a Sunday-style service with extra early morning trains in operation on the mainline route.
Passengers can check times before they travel at abelliogreateranglia.co.uk.
Anglia’s route managing director, Richard Schofield, said: “Over the bank holiday weekend we will continue our Railway Upgrade Plan to make the millions of passenger journeys from Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex in and out of London bigger, better and more reliable.
“We know this means some disruption but there are many trains running across the region this weekend, so please do check before you travel to help plan your journey.”
