Parents have been overwhelmed by fundraising in honour of their eight-year-old boy.
Maylandsea Primary School held a fundraising day for CLIC Sargent in recognition of the help it has given Timmy Shipton and his family.
Timmy has been battling bone cancer and recently finished his fourteenth round of chemotherapy.
Timmy’s mum Maggie Shipton said: “It was absolutely brilliant.
“It was really really touching.
“Darren (Timmy’s dad) and I are so glad he is a pupil at Maylandsea because the whole school is just so caring."
