Car thieves have struck in Maldon stealing a Ford Fiesta.

The Zetec model was stolen over night between Tuesday and Wednesday last week from Mill Road.

The upset victim told the Standard: “There has been yet another car theft and this time it was me who woke up to find out that my car was missing.

“How many more cars have to be taken or damaged before the culprits are found?

“I've been shocked over the last year or so about how many cars are being stolen from Maldon and now it’s happened to me.”
