One councillor is so determined a run down building will be refurbished, that if no one comes forward with a business plan she will do it herself.
Councillors received an update on progress with plans for the old station-masters house at a Burnham town council meeting yesterday.
Una Norman, a councillor who has lived in the area since 1964, said: “There are masses of things that could happen there.
“All I want is for it to be up and running for community use, for all sorts of people to use it and utilise the space.
“At the moment we have this big building with nobody in it and nobody using it."
