Police have appealed for witnesses following a crash on the M11 in which a woman was seriously injured.
The incident happened between Junctions 8 and 9 on the northbound carriageway, near Quendon, at about 9.20pm yesterday, October 15.
Officers believe the car, a white Skoda, went out of control during heavy rain and left the road to the nearside.
One of the passengers in the car, a woman aged in her 50s, received serious injuries and was taken Addenbrooke’s Hospital. The driver and another passenger, both men aged in their 20s, received slight injuries. All three are from the Beccles area, Suffolk.
Any witnesses or anyone with information about events leading to the crash should contact the investigating officer, Pc Will Batchelor, at Chelmsford road policing office on 101.
