Two teenage racing enthusiasts attended the launch of Formula E.
Reece Bawden and Natasha Lawley, both 15, pupils at Plume School in Maldon, represented Greenpower at the global launch of the green racing car series.
Greenpower is a national competition for schools, which is an engineering project for children aged 11 to 14.
Plume School has been running the competition since 2006.
The teenagers met ex-Formula One champions Alain Prost and Jarno Trulli.
