More than a hundred rugby club members and supporters donned their fairy wings and walked 12 miles in honour of one of their supporters, raising over £4,000.
Lisa Aydon, a keen supporter of Burnham Rugby Club, was treated by air ambulance paramedics when she suffered life-threatening injuries after falling down the stairs at her home in Albert Road, Burnham.
The mum-of-three was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge by the East Anglian Air Ambulance with a serious head injury after the accident on Saturday, April 26.
Over a hundred of Mrs Aydon’s friends at the rugby club took on a 12-mile hike from North Fambridge to Burnham sea wall yesterdat and held a barbeque and raffle in aid of the air ambulance.
