When Dave Oram saw the looked out the window and saw the rain pouring down he feared that the Little Totham car rally would be a washout.
But despite the bad weather, more than 100 people turned out with their old fashioned and rare cars to support the event yesterday.
Held at the Little Common, in Little Totham, a display of about 60 cars, eight motorbikes and about four military vehicles, giving visitors and owners plenty to see.
Mr Oram, of School Road, Little Totham, said: “We were disappointed in the morning with the weather and thought it would spoil the day but once the sun came out the cars started rolling in and by the afternoon we had quite a crowd."
