The coastguard was called to help the crew of a motor boat after it broke down.
The Thames Coastguard was called at about 2.40pm yesterday to a 10ft open motor boat which had broken down and was at anchor off Bradwell.
The West Mersea RNLI Lifeboat located the vessel and towed it to Bradwell Marina, where the crew were met by the South Woodham Coastguard team who assisted in recovering the boat onto its trailer and gave safety advice.
