A businesswoman will walk 26 miles at night to raise money for breast cancer charities.
Vicky Lopez, director of De-Ice gritting and snow clearance specialists in Spital Road, Maldon, is taking part in the Moonwalk on Saturday.
She said: “I have wanted to take part in the MoonWalk for some years now.
"One in eight of us will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point of our lives. "80 per cent of us will survive beyond five years of being diagnosed because of the advances in research, medicine and awareness.
"It is because of charity walks such as these that the much needed money is raised.
"I’m so proud to be doing this walk in aid of such a wonderful and worthwhile charity.
"I know this is going to be one of the toughest challenges I’ve ever undertaken."
She has raised £478 so far towards her target of £1,000.
