More than 60 jobs have been safeguarded after a leading plant pot manufacturer announced a £2million investment in its operations in Mundon.
Desch Plantpak managing director Chris Clarke said the investment in new systems and equipment, which will be complete by the autumn, means the 65 exisiting jobs at its manufacturing plant in Mundon will be secured.
He said: “We are very excited to be announcing this major expansion and upgrading of our Mundon manufacturing site.
“As the company celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2014, it is a fitting time for the rebirth of our latest UK production site.”
