Communities have been given thousands of pounds to renovate buildings and refurbish play equipment.
Tollesbury received £40,000 from the Essex Environment Trust to refurbish two landmarks.
The iconic Sail Lofts in Woodrolfe Road were given £15,000 towards repairing or replacing 28 damaged windows.
And £25,000 was give towards the essential re-roofing of The Centre in East Street, which is home of the Tollesbury Community Centre and Tollesbury United Reformed Church.
Maldon and District Community Voluntary Services was given £6,086 for The Maldon Shed, a social group for men that will be based in an old mortuary building in the grounds of Maldon Cemetery.
And Southminster Parish Council was awarded £15,000 to replace old play equipment on the King George V Memorial Field in Station Road.
The money awarded by the Essex Environment Trust comes from Cory Environmental Ltd.
