Sarah Bays admits she likes the odd glass of red wine - every night.
That’s why she’s taking on the challenge of a dry January.
But it’s not just in a bid to better her health, she’s raising money for a cancer charity too.
Mrs Bays, 45, of Hall Road, in Tiptree, said: “Being a serious lover of wine and knowing the quantity I was consuming was rather unhealthy, I was really looking for something like this and it’s an added bonus it’s being run by Cancer Research.
“When you’re being sponsored to do something, it makes it more likely you’ll do it, so I’m determined."

Dry January is a national campaign to stay alcohol-free this month.
