Children are encouraged to let their imaginations run riot with a summer writing competition.
Author Susan Campbell, of The Brambles, Southminster, came up with the idea with Maldon district radio station Saint FM.
Youngsters can write a story about anything they like.
The only rules are they must be short and interesting. Entrants must be aged seven or over.
The prize is a £25 Tesco voucher, a trip to Saint FM and the winning story will be read on live radio.
Send stories to stevegallant@saintfm.org.uk by September 8.
