Lauren holds a joint bachelor's degree in journalism and English language and began her career working in content marketing and digital analytics. She then combined her technical skills with her passion for writing to cover features across various Newsquest titles in the UK before joining the Essex and Kent Life team in 2023. Today, she continues to publish articles for magazines and newspapers in the Southeast. Away from her desk, Lauren loves escaping into the outdoors and going on long hikes, particularly across the lake and peak districts. Alternatively, she can usually be found at a rock music gig. She never goes anywhere without a book in hand.
