MARINE AND COASTAL ACCESS ACT 2009 APPLICATION FOR BANK RE-ALIGNMENT AND IMPROVEMENT WORKS
Notice is hereby given that Portflair Limited has applied to the Marine Management Organisation under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, Part 4, for a marine licence to undertake: To re-align and re-profile the South-Western embankment of Bradwell Marina. This is necessary to stabilise the bank where it has started to slip along its length. The work will include the installation of 5no. 350mm-diameter, steel piles to strengthen the toe of the bank. These piles will also locate a 75metre length of floating pontoons. The pontoons will provide public access for coach parties and individuals for the proposed new ferry route.
