Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has received a planning application from Eurovia Ltd for Change of use of part of inert waste recycling facility (as permitted by ESS/15/15/ CHL) to area for storage of road materials and installation of replacement office at Bulls Lodge Quarry, CM3 3HR – ESS/44/17/CHL Members of the public may inspect a copy of the application and other documents submitted with it online at www.essex.gov.uk/viewplanning  or at Essex County Council at the below address (please call for an appointment on 03330 139808). Consultation on this application is open until 14 September 2017. (Nathans Lane, Writtle) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Nathans Lane, Writtle in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 320m west of Margaretting Road, for a further 90m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th September 2017 for 11 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034772007 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new electrical connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Highwood Road, The Causeway, Highwood Road Roundabout, Greenbury Way, Margaretting Road Roundabout, Margaretting Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 24th August 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. (Mill Road, Stock) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Road, Stock in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Mill Lane to its junction with Downham Road, a distance of approximately 935 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th September 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2228788 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage construction works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Mill Lane, Downham Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 24th August 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Chalk Street, Rettendon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chalk Street, Rettendon in the City of Chelmsford, from the junction with South Hanningfield Road for a distance of approximately 100 m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th August 2017 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005MU1WSEP00IBQAA0WT05 – BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while lay new duct works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Chalk Street, Warren Road, South Hanningfield Road, Giffords Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 24th August 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, City of Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.5) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the City of Chelmsford as specified in Schedule 1. A temporary ‘No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force. “The Borough Council of Chelmsford (Waiting, Loading and Parking Consolidation) Order 2009” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 7th September 2017 exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/ . The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
