(Footpath 3 & 5, Cold Norton and Footpath 11, Purleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close the following length of Footpath 3&5,Cold Norton and Footpath 11, Purleigh in the District of Maldon:
18th September 2017 for 3days,orwherestated on avalid permit (BC005CB1W0000EA2WFA21PT1 -BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closureisrequired for the safety of the public and workforce while renewaloffaulty aerial cable works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Maldon Road, Waterside Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 27th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Cold Norton Road, Cold Norton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cold Norton Road, Cold Norton in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Fambridge Road for adistance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction. The closureisscheduled to commence on 31st July 2017 for 2days, or wherestated on avalid permit (EP201EH2230193 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks. org. The closureisrequired for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway repair works areundertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Fambridge Road, Burnham Road, Maldon Road, Cold Norton Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 13th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Maldon District) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic& Clearway) (No.9) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Maldon as specified in Schedule 1.

2. Atemporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closuretofacilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be

in force.
"The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only.All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 01/08/2017 exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. Description
From its junction with Flambirds Chase, east for adistance of approximately 575 metres up to the parish boundary whereitbecomes Footpath 13, Purleigh.
From its junction with Flambirds Chase, south for adistance of approximately 1620 metres up to whereitbecomes Footpath 4, Stow Maries.
Footpath 11, Purleigh/Footpath 5, Cold Norton
The alternative route for the above footpath closures will be via: Hackmans Lane, Flambirds Chase, Footpath 3, Stow Maries, Footpath 19, Stow Maries and vice versa.
The temporary closureare scheduled to commence on 22 and 23 July 2017, 27 August 2017 and 17 September 2017 between the hours of 09:00h and 18:00hor whereappropriate signs areshowing and weather permitting, and arerequired for the safety of the public while the Fly-in and Air Display at Stow Maries Great WarAerodrome is undertaken.
The Orders will come into effect on 22 July 2017 and may continue in force 6months or until the event have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
