BRAINTREE DISTRICT COUNCIL
TAXI NOTICE- FARE INCREASE

Notice is hereby given that the Executive of the Council on 16 May 2022, approved for a variation the fare structure for Hackney Carriages. The change will come into effect on 1 July 2022 and is detailed below:

1. TARIFF 1
An increase in the starting fare for all journeys from £3.50 to £3.70.
The incremental distance to be changed from every 104 yards to 95 yards.
