(Batts Road, Steeple) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Batts Road, Steeple in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 150m south of its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 1015m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th July 2019 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W0000000IBZ45VHZ - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

www.roadworks.org

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while working on overhead cable works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Foxhall Road, Highlands Hill, Green Lane, Grange Avenue, Steeple Road, Maldon Road, Jeagor Farm, Gospel Corner, Chapel Corner, The Street and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 18th July 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Southminster Road, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Southminster Road, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 160m northwest of its junction with Marsh Road for a distance of approximately 200m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2019 for 4 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231003489 - MDS Civil Engineering Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway repair works are undertaken by MDS Civil Engineering Ltd.

An alternative route is available via Southminster Road, Church Road, Maldon Road, Burnham Road, Summerhill, Scotts Hill, Southfield Way, Oak Drive, Burnham Road Roundabout, Old Heath Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 1st August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Alamein Road, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Alamein Road, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Normandy Avenue for a distance of approximately 20m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th July 2019 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000831146 -Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Normandy Avenue, Dunkirk Road, Arnheim Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 18th July 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
