(Hyde Lane, Danbury) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hyde Lane, Danbury in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Cherry Garden Lane for a distance of approximately 40m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd July 2019 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000828984 -Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Hyde Lane, Mill Lane, Gay Bowers Lane, Copt Hill, Maldon Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 11th July 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Baddow Road, Chelmsford) (Temporary Introduction of a One Way) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a one way restriction on Baddow Road, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 130m north west of its junction with Meadgate Avenue for a distance of approximately 100m in a northwesterly direction (traffic to go southbound only) The restriction is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2019 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034813309 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while reinstatement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route for northbound traffic is available via Beehive Lane, Stock Road, Galleywood Road, Wood Street, Wood Street Roundabout, London Road, Princes Road, Princes Road Roundabout, Fortinbras Way, Van Diemans Road, Army And Navy Roundabout, Parkway and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 27th June 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Gay Bowers Road, Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Gay Bowers Road, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Gay Bowers Lane for a distance of approximately 180m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th July 2019 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037RO56182114 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to replace manhole cover are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Bicknacre Road, The Common, Penny Royal Road, Copt Hill, Gay Bowers Lane, Capons Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11th July 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Margaretting Road, Writtle) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Margaretting Road, Writtle in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 360m south of its junction with Margaretting Road roundabout for a distance of approximately 80m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th July 2019 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W0000000WAKM0M0S - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Margaretting Road, Writtle Road, Margaretting Bypass, Wantz Road, Main Road, Whites Place Roundabout, Three Mile Hill Roundabout, Three Mile Hill, Writtle Bypass Roundabout, Greenbury Way, Margaretting Road Roundabout and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11th July 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
