EVELEIGH Robert Anthony It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Anthony Eveleigh (Bob) announce his sudden passing on Tuesday 28th April 2020, at the age of 60 years. He was born on the 26th of February 1960 to Margaret and Anthony Eveleigh. He attended King John comprehensive school in Benfleet and soon after went to sea. In 1995 he joined the Port of London Authority where he was a much liked and well-respected River Pilot. In 2015 he was welcomed into the fraternity Trinity House; he was proud to have been welcomed to such an established and highly regarded organisation. He first met Joy Louise Eveleigh in 1992, fell in love and married on the 31st of August 1993. Their enduring love for each other was truly something special and they enjoyed and treasured every moment of their time together. James Anthony Eveleigh was born in May 1995, and Abbie Mary Eveleigh followed the same month four years later. Bob shared his passions with us, and we have all enjoyed a lifetime of sailing and skiing already. Together as a family we have made the happiest of memories. The Funeral Service will be held on the 29th May 2020 at Chelmsford Crematorium. Due to the current circumstances, only immediate family will be able to attend. If you wish to pay your respects, the funeral procession will leave Beauchamps at 12.30; however we will hold a remembrance service at a later date.
