NEWTON Betty 8.8.26 4.12.18 Peacefully at Hailey House, Maldon. A loving Mum to Bill, Paul and Dave, also Gran and Great Gran. Will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday 2nd January at All Saints Church, Maldon at 11.15am Followed by private cremation at Chelmsford. Family flowers only. So sad to se that Betty had passed away, as I remembered sitting with her husband Jack on a
Monday evening picking the football team for our Saturday game of football for Mundon Vics. How proud it must have felt for Betty and Jack when we had that wonderfull win of the double in the 60's and poor Betty having to clean our shirts for our next game on the Saturday. We actually only lost 1 game all that season and that was onlo 1-0 away to a team out Dunmow area. We will all remember you Betty and hubby Jack for all of those marvelous times. Thanks to both of you.
