At our meeting on April 16, Dawn Crampin gave a enlightening talk on her time in the WRVS and as chairman of the Prison Visitors Committee at Bullwood Hall Women's Prison.
Sally took the meeting as Jean was on holiday. Among other trips and visits members agreed to enter a team in the Inter WI Quiz. The competition for a Knitted Bag using Plastic Bags was won by Monica Williams with Sue Capp Second.
Our next meeting on May 21 is the Resolutions Meeting and Stories with Auntie Jean and the competition is for a Flower Arrangement in an Unusual Container.
Visitors and new members are always welcome. We meet every third Wednesday of the month at 8pm in Cold Norton Village Hall.
The competition is for a bit of fun and you are not obliged to enter. For more information please ring Sue Capp on 828018.
