TEA DANCE

Come and spend a relaxing afternoon on Wednesday February 13 for a Valentine's Tea Dance.
Tickets, costing £2, are available from Mary on 742464 and Janice on 741022.
The event is at St Andrew's Hall, Althorne and will feature tea and cakes and a raffle along with the music.
POPPY COLLECTION
Thank you, everyone, collectors and contributors, for your efforts in the 2007 Poppy Appeal.
The village's total was £679.27.
Special mention must go to the Huntsman and Hounds customers who raised the most again this year.
BIT OF A DO NUMBER 3
Put the date in your diaries - our third joint event between the church and hospice is on Saturday March 8, between 11am and 3pm.
There will be a raffle, tombola, crafts, home-made soup and rolls, a silent auction cards, gifts and lots more.
TABLE TOP SALE
There will be a table top sale in the village hall, Cherry Blossom Lane, on Saturday, February 16, from 11am to 1pm. Tables are available at £5 each - please call 01621 828475 to book or for more information.
