Tillingham lose out

TILLINGHAM'S first eleven played away at Stock in what was expected to be a high-scoring match.

However, that wasn’t to be.

Tillingham batted first with Mike Clay top scoring with 34, but there wasn’t anyone else to trouble the scorers.

Fielding’s excellent bowling, five for 26 off 12 overs, made it hard for the batsmen, which reduced the away side to 110 all out off 45 overs.

In reply, Stock were never under any pressure, Mike Clay and Phil Clay picked up a wicket each but S Morley, 36 not out, took Stock to 111 for two off 22 overs.
