Danbury Juniors 2-1 Tiptree Minors Dodgers
THIS is it: the final game of the season and with both teams sitting at the bottom of the table the pressure was always going to be on. There was no denying that Tiptree started well with good controlled passing and strong defending and they kept possession well. A corner well taken by Joe Hart found Connor Murphy who neatly placed the ball in the back of the net to give Tiptree a well deserved lead. Despite some excellent football and chance after chance to increase their score Tiptree were still only 1-0 up at half time. The second half saw a determined Danbury who seemed to be much more into the game than a rather tired looking Tiptree, Jamie Sleet made an excellent early save after not having had too much to do during the first half but Danbury's persistence paid off and they found the equaliser and more importantly for them a second shortly after to snatch the lead. Alfie Alexander was unlucky not to score for the Minors after hitting the bar but Tiptree just couldn't find the equaliser they really needed.

Beacon Hill 4 - 3 Tiptree Minors
It was an overcast chilly start, but within the first 2 minutes Toby Booty scored a fantastic goal following a cross from Thomas Rodriguez. Another good attempt at goal by Thomas saw the ball just miss. An excellent defence by William saw Beacon Hill away from the goal in the 6th minute. With seconds played a superb shot by Joseph Norster kept Beacon Hill on their toes. Fifteen minutes in saw another goal by Toby following a sneaky roll in after the keeper made contact. Attacks by Pacey and Harrison continued our game until half time at 2 nil.
At 10.30 sharp an attack by Tiptree kept our momentum going forcing Beacon keeper to make an excellent save despite three red shirts on the attack. Four minutes into second half saw a Beacon Hill goal. Tiptree allowed another attempt but a fantastic save by Ryan Seeley, cleared by Rory defeated their attempt. At 2 nil up and excellent defence by Lewis Bell consistently throughout still was not enough to stop a goal by Beacon Hill ten minutes in.

Joseph brought us back 3-1 but they caught up quickly 2 minutes later to 3-2. Beacon Hill equalled the score with excellent team work all the way from the centre kick. Another 2 shots by Joseph tried to soften the fast come back but it was not to be. A final goal made it 4-3 to Beacon Hill Rovers leaving a fantastic effort by all unrewarded.

Galleywood Youth Falcons 2 - 1 Tiptree Minors
With plenty of supporters cheering them on within the first minute Joseph Norster passed to Toby Booty who scored a superb goal into the top of the net. Both teams worked hard to keep possession of the ball. Ryan Seeley cleared the ball when it threatened our goal early in the first half. Both Joseph and Toby had shots denied by the Galleywood goalie. Fifteen minutes into the match Ryan made a great jump to save their first goal but it just went over the top of his finger tips making it 1 all. Some great defending by our Tiptree boys but Ryan had to make a save at the end of the first half.
