Tiptree Road Runner King breaks club record

TIPTREE Road Runner Chris King broke a club record at the Langham 10km.

The extremely hot conditions slowed times throughout the field.

However, King, on her club 10km debut, broke the long-standing club F50 record with a run of 56 minutes and 15 seconds.

James Haskey-Jones was first home for the club in 41m 24s, with Craig Dawson making his debut at the distance in an encouraging 41m 45s and Stuart Meddeman finishing in 43m 42s.

Peter Fuller ran 49m 24s, followed by Tara Harrison in 51m 27s and Rob Hadgraft in 52m 17s.

Anthony Knight followed a 17-mile marathon training run with a time of 53m 13s, while Ian Linton completed his first road race following a virus in 53m 24s.
