SEAN Bartlett bagged the only goal as BRANTHAM ATHLETIC emerged 1-0 winners at FC CLACTON tonight.
The sides met in a Thurlow Nunn League premier division derby at the Rush Green Bowl.
Bartlett’s winner came five minutes before the break, drilling home after Jack Sibbons’ angled effort hit the right-hand post.

Losing at the break, the Seedgrowers responded thanks to goals from Luke Wilson, Tyler Brampton and Tom Monk.
MALDON AND TIPTREE were in Bostik League division north action at Bowers and Pitsea and lost 4-2.
Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe and Oluwole Akinsanya scored the Jammers’ goals.
