LES Cheyne won the Golf Foundation Trophy at Five Lakes.
Played on the Lakes course, this men's competition is one of six strokeplay competitions that go towards the best scratch golfer of the year prize.
Two golfers returned nett 72s - Vince Bokenham (17) and Clive Weir (20) - to be just outside the main prizes, while third place went to Dave Chignell (12) with a nett 71.
He was beaten on countback by Steve Harris (21), with a better back nine holes on the same score to claim second place.
However, Cheyne (16) was the winner with a nett 69.
Two players won birdie balls for twos on the par threes - club captain Ron Dent on the 11th hole and Richard Hardy-King on the 16th.
