THIRTY-EIGHT hardy gents ventured out to play for Five Lakes' Winter Plate.
Mark Harlow and Charlie Powell were the early leaders, with a nett 60.5.
Taking third place were Chris Graham and Adam Rutter, with a nett 60.
Second place went to Les Powell and Frank Taylor, with a serious 59.5, but the outstanding winners on a very wet and miserable day were Dave Chignell and Clive Taylor, with a nett 58.5.
