THE November stableford took place at Burnham Golf Club.

Forty-two men took part and in division one, top spot went to John Reynolds, with 39 points.

David Elphinstone (38) was second and Keith Wilsenham third, with 37.

Division two was won by Ian Potten, with 39 points.

Matthew Duck was second, with 37, on countback from third-placed Tim Hull, on countback from fourth-placed John Johnson.

Twenty-nine ladies played the rescheduled Pearl Sinclair Trophy.

Liz Tolhurst won with 45 points.

Linda Sinden was second, with 39, on countback from third-placed Laura Whiteman.

Sue Frost was fourth, with 38.

It was week three in the Winter League.

Outgoing captain Roger Miles and Tom Tothill are still top of division A1, having scored 39 points.

They finished second and were beaten only by Brian Roche and Fenton Yeulett, who had 41.

Overall, Miles and Tothill stay top of the table with 30 points, with Roche and Yeulett second with 26.

Mat McGlone and Walter Thompson are third, two points behind.

Division A2 is much tighter.

It was a later tee time this week and the wind freshened as the morning went on.

Micky Parish and Richie Corfield took the day's honours with 40 points and there was a welcome return to form by the Leslie Wood duo of Warren Needham and Graeme Strange, who took second spot with 39.

Despite Parish and Corfield not playing in week one, they have two wins from two appearances and 24 points.

This means they are in joint-top spot with Needham and Strange and a point in front of Antony Swanborough and Mick Pratt.

Thirty-two seniors contested the November stableford.

Trevor Roberts was first, with 34 points.

Harry Hastwell was second, with 32, and Len Bailey third, with 31, on countback from Gerry Sizer.

There was a good turnout for the Burnham Pro Am event.

Jason Levermore was first with 66 nett, while second spot was shared by Brett Taylor and David Salisbury, with 67 nett.

In the team event, Barry Presley, Dave Gregson, Trevor Roberts and pro Lloyd Kennedy won with 93 points.

Henry Appiah, Neil Hutchinson, David Pope and pro Jason Levermore were second, with 92, and Dom Adams, Warren Needham, Paul Hegarty and pro Mark Stokes third, with 89.
