PAT McSweeney was a worthy winner of Five Lakes Golf Club's Captain's Charity Cup.
The 13-handicapper finished top of a large field to win the Gents 18-hole stableford with 41 points, on the Lakes course.
Keith Codling (24) finished as runner-up with 40 points, while a better back nine holes helped Ben Grant finish third on countback from Alan Garnett and Paul Bowers, after all three players finished on 38 points.
A trio of players - club President Barry Boniface, Charlie Powell and Lee Stafford - finished with 37 points.
Six players won birdie balls for twos on the par threes.
Joe Hart, Phil Roblin and Tom Vass achieved the feat on the fourth, as did Mark Harlow on the eighth and Barry Boniface and Lee Stafford on the 11th.
