WITHAM Town’s strong form continued with a sixth straight win that took them into the top four of Ryman League division north.

Adam Flint’s team have now won their last six games in all competitions and the latest success came with a 2-1 division north victory at home against visiting Ware.

They had to come from behind to do it, though, as Ware took an early lead when Gareth Price gave them the lead in just the fourth minute.

However, Flint’s side are playing with plenty of confidence at the moment and having taken the setback in their stride, they were level by half-time as Ryan Charles got them a 45th minute equaliser.

And when Scott Kemp fired in the winner in the 79th minute Witham made sure of all three points.

There was also an important division north win for MALDON & TIPTREE as they went goal crazy in the second half at rock-bottom Wroxham to end a run of three back-to-back defeats.

Rhys Henry had given the Jammers a half-time lead with a goal in the 15th minute, but a devastating eight-minute spell after the break wrapped up the game.

First, Adam Mills struck in the 49th and 50th minutes, before Henry got his second of the game in the 53rd minute and Sam Newson made it 5-0 in the 57th.

There was also time at the end for Tyler Brampton to grab a late sixth goal as Maldon headed home with a 6-0 win in the bag.

Meanwhile, there were a pair of 2-2 draws for HEYBRIDGE SWIFTS and BRIGHTLINGSEA REGENT.

Brightlingsea had to twice come from behind to earn their point as first a Tom Richardson strike and then an 80th minute own goal saw them level at the end with hosts AFC Hornchurch.

Heybridge were also held to a 2-2 draw at home against Waltham Abbey, but Jody Brown’s team may feel frustrated as they were pegged back after leading 2-0.

Glen Little gave them the lead in the 15th minute and George Cole doubled the advantage 17 minutes later, but Darelle Russell halved the deficit before half-time and Romaric Logon levelled just after the hour mark to grab a point.
