TEST: Dengie 100 Runners Richard Carvey, Samantha Boshell, Kevin Fleuty, Emily de Orfe and Dan Tunbridge.
FIVE Dengie 100 Runners took part in the Round the Island all-terrain race - a 13.4-mile route around Mersea Island.
It included sand, grass, mud and road and is a very tough race, especially the beach section.
Dan Tunbridge finished in two hours, ten minutes and 52 seconds, Kevin Fleuty in 2h 25m 50s, Samantha Boshell in 2h 27m 40s, Richard Carvey in 2h 30m 7s and Emily de Orfe in 2h 30m 37s.
